As a founding member of one of the country's most successful urban cohousing projects (Swan’s Market Cohousing in Oakland, CA), Neil Planchon likes to share his passion for what he deems a much friendlier, much more resource-efficient mode of living. An active advocate for cohousing, he regularly organizes visiting tours for people interested in exploring a more communal way of life that's meant to counter at least two evils of modern society: wastefulness and lonely anonymity.
