The article, originally published on InForum, addresses the increased interest for cohousing initiatives in Minnesota, US. With 170 cohousing communities active and 140 communities in planning, in recent years the USA has witnessed a steady rise in interest in cohousing initiatives. Although presently most common in western states (California, Colorado, Oregon and Washington), the cohousing trend is on the rise in Minnesota and this article reports the views of some residents in such projects.
