An international conference held in Bogotá explored the future of collaborative housing in Colombia under the theme “Myths, Legends and Dreams.”

Researchers, housing cooperatives, and civil society organizations discussed examples of collaborative housing from Latin America and Europe, challenged the prevailing view of housing as individual property, and explored opportunities for developing new collaborative housing projects in Colombia. The discussions focused on access to land, financing options, and technical support as key conditions for putting these initiatives into practice.
