Below you can find a compact overview of the various ways you can get involved with the Cohousing|Berlin platform. User registration is prerequisite to publishing an entry on the portal.

Costs
The work behind this portal is carried out in large part on a volunteer basis, both on the part of the board of editors as well as other contributors.
Compensation for the server, administrative and programming costs comes from the fee for portal entries made by advertisers and ownership-based cohousing projects. Hence our request for the financial support of professionals in the field and ownership-based cohousing projects seeking new members.

Initiatives in the founding phase: Projects undergoing the process of finding and integrating members but without specific property or real estate in view.........................................Free

Concrete project in the planning stages, with specific property or real estate under discussion: The fee is not imposed on the basis of the buyer’s option, reservation or purchase of the property; rather, it is applied to property-based projects and projects with a membership deposit of 10% or more..........................................One-time fee of €40 per available apartment

The project entry fees listed above are one-time fees.

Entries for advisors: Not-for-profit organizations, cooperatives and public institutions...............................................................................Free

Entries for professionals: The following fees apply to entries for professional offices/firms active in project support, planning, financing or construction.

1-3 employees .......................................................................................................... €100/year*

4-6 employees .......................................................................................................... €150/year*

7-9 employees .......................................................................................................... €250 /year*

10 employees or more .............................................................................................. €350/year*

*No VAT is applied, in conformity with §19 of the UStG (German tax law).

The entries for professionals and advisors are calculated on the basis of the running year; fees are paid quarterly at 25% of the total fee for the year. For example, the professional entry for a firm with 7 employees registered in April was billed a total of €187.50 in 2014.
