Holst Architecture completes color-drenched co-housing for low-income Portlanders

Matt Hickman's article describes the cohousing complex Argyle Gardens, realised by the women-owned, Oregon-based Holst Architecture as a "deep affordable housing" project, with a colourful appereance and a 72-unit strong compound. With the commitment to provide affordable housing for people transitioning from homelessness, Holst Architecture gave its own take to the idea of modular architecture with an approach named LISAH - Low Income Single Adult Housing.
